For some time, Bobby has been interested in Locks Of Love, a charitable organization that provides natural human hair wigs to children with long term hair loss due to medical treatment or other causes.
Two years ago he accepted a challenge to grow his hair to at least the minimum ten inch length required by the wig makers.
At last the required length was achieved, and the time came on Thursday 27th October 2011 for the final cut. Jane Gill and her staff at Sweeny Todd’s Barbers in Hale, Farnham, Surrey, England donated their time to carefully remove his locks.
These pictures show his transformation!
As Bobby’s original commitment was to Locks of Love, that organization will receive Bobby’s hair.
However, since becoming interested in the charity, Bobby has also discovered the Little Princess Trust, a UK-based organization similar to Locks of Love.
Bobby would also like to raise awareness for the Little Princess Trust, so any cash donations will be donated to this organization. If you would like to donate to the fundraising Bobby has been doing for this good cause please follow the link –
