Bobby was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and still calls “MUSIC CITY USA” home.
Born into a family of gospel singers and musicians, he learned the pure, simple harmonies of gospel, folk and country music as a young boy. In his early teens, he started his career in music, touring the Southeast USA with the popular vocal group I.M.P.A.C.T.
Heeding his country’s call, Bobby joined the United States Air Force at 17. His remarkable vocal talent was immediately recognised, and in addition to his normal duties he was soon entertaining at official functions, private parties and public relations events.
Bobby’s last posting with the Air Force was a return to England, where he’d served as an 18 year old airman. It was here that he knew he’d found a second home. Leaving the USAF to pursue a music career full-time, Bobby was quickly in demand as a cabaret singer. His past visits to the UK have included appearances at Lakeside Country Club, where he has supported The Stylistics, and others.
Maintaining his home in Nashville, Bobby is now looking more and more toward the UK and Europe as fertile ground for his brand of entertainment. He offers an excellent “all-round” program suitable for both listening and dancing. His singing voice has an amazing range, and suits songs from all eras and styles of country music.
Working normally as a solo singer using backing tracks, it has been discovered that if he were to sing all the songs he knows non-stop, you would have over 14 hours of solid entertainment. Due to his incredible repertoire, Bobby is also able to sing with most musicians, and is planning to have his own backing band at some time in the future.
Now under sole management, Bobby is currently enjoying touring the country clubs here in the UK.
With his warm personality and polite, friendly disposition, this man is destined to go far. He truly believes in what he is doing and works hard to get things right. He loves to meet and talk with people and spend time getting to know them, not just during his show but before and after as well. He is a true Southern Gentleman.
